The 2022 MCBA Prize Exhibition

Since 2009, the MCBA Prize has honored excellence in new work from across the dynamic spectrum of book art. This year, esteemed juror Megan N. Liberty selected 19 semi-finalists and five finalists from 154 entries hailing from across the US and beyond. Viewable *in person* in our Main Gallery from August 11–October 15, these works are also accessible in the 2022 menu above, and selected artworks are available for purchase in our Shop. A live virtual event revealing the winner will take place on Friday, September 23 at 6pm CT. One winner will receive a $2,000 cash prize and four finalists will each receive a $500 cash prize.
